GR Heat makes a return for episode 5 of the GR Heat series. We have 5 kicks from 5 different stores. We have a pair of Nikes, 2 Adidas kicks, Asics and independent brand Clear Weather. This is the first independent brand to make GR Heat.
Nike Air Max 2015 – JD – £140
The most expensive of the five however worth the price. The colorway is a simple white and black however the clear 360 degree air unit underlines with an ice blue sole sets the sneaker off. Great casual kick as well as a great active/workout kick.
Adidas Temper Run – Footpatrol – £90
The temper run has had a number of colorways and this one is just as nice. There’s something about this silhouette that catches the eye. The AdiPRENE sole acts as a shock absorb which provides unbelievable comfort. An under-rated silhouette in the Adidas portfolio in my opinion.
Clear Weather (The Ninety White) – WellGosh – £69.95
The first independent brand in the GR heat series and a good way to start. A simple sneaker but the details add to the aesthetics and it’s the small details that make this shoe really pop off. This is the lowest prices kick in the series but definitely just as nice.
Asics Gel-Lyte V TN/TN – Hanon Shop – £115
Everyone knows about the Gel-Lyte V. However for the summer this shoe is a must in the rotation especially with the sock like tongue which allows you easily to rock with no sock or no show socks.
Adidas ZX 8000 Boost Shoes – Adidas – £110
I love how Adidas have combined two very popular silhouettes in the form of the ZX Flux and Boost. This particular colorway is really beautiful and I can’t wait to see what else can come from this new mixture of Adidas kicks.
That’s it for #5 of GR Heat, I hope you enjoyed the list and have seen a new pair of kicks that you might go on to cop. Thanks for reading!
