GR Heat is back and of course there is plenty of heat. Comprised of 5 pairs of kicks from Nike, Diadora and debuts from Ewing, Brooks Chariot and Vans. This series retailers are SoleHeaven, Footlocker, WellGosh and Hanon Shop.
Ewing Athletic 33Hi – SoleHeaven – £99
A classic shoe but under-rated for me. The white and Gum sole is a colorway that hardly ever goes wrong and looks classy yet so simple. These are as good as any other kick and at it’s price you can’t go wrong in comparison to brands such as Jordan’s.
Nike Huarache (Navy-Platinum-Crimson) – FootLocker Exclusive – £89.99
The Huarache wave continues. Not all Huaraches leave a clear shelf and these might be one of those but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve the appreciation of triple whites or blacks. The brightness in contrast to the grey and navy is pulled off nicely and stand out from the rest of the bunch.
Diadora N9000 NYL – WellGosh – £98.95
Diadora are looking at a huge year especially with all we’ve seen coming from the brand. Their GR releases are not disappointing with the N9000 model one of my favorite. Seeing these first hand the quality is real good and of course includes a red colorway.
Brooks Chariot x Atmos Pacific – Hanon Shop – £99.00
A dope runner that isn’t quite in the ordinary consumers eye, yet. The subtle colorway compliment the type of sneaker this is in terms of comfort and being able to rock on a day to day basis.
Vans Sk8 Hi LX – Hanon Shop – £89.00
There’s two things that people constantly complain about: Quality or price. These vans combine the classic silhouette with high quality material. If Vans are able to charge such a price for this quality it makes you question why other brands can’t.
That’s it for this GR Heat and I think this one was different from previous with a lot of brands appearing for the first time. Remember GR kicks have as much quality and aesthetics as your’e exclusives and collabs.
